PTA donates vehicle to Zebilla Senior High School

The Executive Committee of the Parent- Teacher Association (PTA) of Zebilla Senior High Technical School on Monday donated a Japan Toyota Hilux Pick- Up Truck to the school authorities, at Zebilla in the Bawku West District.

The car was valued at GH¢128,847.00.

The PTA also handed over a classroom block and office furniture costing GH¢5,095 to the school.

Mr Atiah Kudugu, the PTA Chairman who presented the keys of the pick up to the school said the donation was to enhance teaching and learning and to complement the Association’s social responsibilities.

Mr Richard Ayabilla Akumbas, the Headmaster who received the Pick-up, expressed appreciation to the PTA for the kind gesture.

He said about 80 per cent of the teachers on campus were staying outside and this was affecting teaching and learning and made it difficult to enforce discipline.

He urged the PTA to continue with the good works and invited other developmental partners to support the school with Teachers’ accommodation.
