The Ghanaian Voice

“Adjetey resigns, NPP crisis deepens”, is the lead headline on the front page of the Ghanaian Voice. The paper says a new dimension has been added to the election, later this month, of NPP national officers in the wake of the planned resignation of Mr Peter Ala Adjetey, national chairman of the NPP. It says Mr Adjetey has dropped hints that he may not like to offer himself for re-election at the party’s upcoming congress owing to a painful realisation that his authority is often undermined while his competence is invariably subjected to abuse.
