Accra, May 31, GNA – Alhaji Aliu Mahama, Vice President would begin a tour of the Northern and Upper East Regions on Tuesday, June 1. A statement issued by the Ministry of Information and signed by Mr Andrews Awuni, Deputy Minister, said during the weeklong official tour, Vice President Aliu would visit Nasia, Walewale, Wulugu, Gambaga, Nalerigu and Bunkpurugu, all in the Northern Region.
The statement said the tour would also take him to Bongo, Bawku, Zebila, Navrongo, Sandema and Fumbisi in the Upper East Region. It said Vice President would inspect on-going projects, inaugurate completed projects and attend various durbars to be organised by the chiefs and people.
Vice President Aliu would return to Accra on Tuesday, June 8, the statement said.
