In the after math of the massive explosion that rocked the public latrine at Pig Farm last Tuesday (the owners of the latrine) are blaming the MP of Ayawaso Central Constituency of deliberately causing the explosion.
The farmers are demanding compensation from the Minister for pulling down the rest of their toilet structures which are not part of the collapsed one.
The farmers led by, Kofi Azogba, Samuel Auyah, Sovey Awyah, alias stone, George Boateng and G.K. Dzamesi all executive members of the Pig Breeders Association of Pig Farm trooped to the offices of the Free Press to register their claim. According to them, they suspect an agent of the MP must have planted a dynamite or an explosive material in the toilet to cause the tragic accident that nearly threw the Pig Farm community into a trauma.
They stressed that they believe the minister cause the action to give him the upper hand over them in his battle to take over the toilet from them. Narrating the history of the toilet facility to his paper, Mr Samuel Awyah said the Pig Breeders acquired the land from the chiefs of the area and used a portion f the land to construct the toilet facility for the use of the community.
