Rev. Azornu inducted as Sub-District Pastor

Kwesimintsim, (W/R) May 31, GNA – Reverend Emmanuel Amey, Sekondi-Takoradi District Pastor of the Evangelical Presbyterian Church, Ghana, has called on Ghanaians to let Christian law of forgiveness be their guide throughout their lives.

He made the call when inducting Rev. W. H. Y. Azornu as Kwesimintsim Sub-District Pastor of the Church at Kwesimintsim near Takoradi at the weekend.

Rev. Amey who was speaking on the theme: “Holy Spirit, New Law of the Christian” said Ghanaians must forgive one another and work in unity to sustain the country’s development.

He said absolute submission to the Holy Spirit and the law of forgiveness would give the country peace and a sense of direction. Rev. Amey said it was the Holy Spirit that could show people what was wrong and what was right, but unfortunately, many people disregarded the promptings of the Spirit and depended on cultural, traditions and human principles to determine their conduct.

Rev. Azornu pledged to use his new position to contribute towards the development of the church and the nation.
