President Kufuor Arrives in Malabo

Malabo, May 29, GNA- President John Agyekum Kufuor arrived in Malabo, Equatorial Guinea on Saturday to begin a three-day state visit. Accompanied by Dr. Paa Kwasi Ndoum, Minister of Energy, President Kufuor was met at the gangway of the Ghana Airways Plane by his host, Obiang Nguema Mbasogo, President of the Republic of Equatorial Guinea. Later in the day, President Kufuor visited the City Hall of Malabo where Mrs. Isabel Eraul Ivina, Mayor of Malabo presented the golden key of the city to him after which President Kufuor signed the Visitors Book. President Kufuor’s visit to Equatorial Guinea is a reciprocal one by President Mbasogo to Ghana in August last year.
