Kotoka International Airport’s Presidential Bypass to be closed from Tuesday

The management of the Ghana Airports Company Limited (GACL) has announced the closure of the presidential bypass of the Kotoka International Airport to traffic.

The bypass will be closed beginning Tuesday, August 1.

This, according to management, is necessary to “enable the contractor on the Terminal 3 Project commence work on the construction of a road network and car park”.

Sod was cut for the project in 2016 by Former President John Dramani Mahama.

It is expected to be completed in the first quarter of 2018.

GACL apologised for the inconvenience the closure of the bypass may cause the public.
