Maltese President visits Otumfuo today

Maltese President, H.E. Mrs. Marie-Louise Coleiro Preca is expected to pay a courtesy call on the Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II at the Manhyia Palace.

The President’s visit forms part of a 3-day visit to Ghana. She and her spouse arrived in Ghana on Wednesday July 26, 2017.

They will also visit the Hope X Change Medical Centre and later proceed to Cape Coast.

Ghana is the first country in recent history to have invited a sitting Maltese Head of State and also the first sub-Saharan country to establish a High Commission in Malta.

Ghana and Malta have pledged to deepen economic and trade relations going forward for the good of the people of the respective countries.
