Political party leaders urged to ensure discipline

Busunya (B/A), May 27, GNA- Mr Kofi Adu, Nkoranza North Constituency Secretary of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has urged the leadership of political parties to educate their followers and members to be disciplined.

Mr Adu was addressing a meeting of NDC Executive Members in the constituency at Busunya in the Brong Ahafo Region on Wednesday. The Executives discussed how best to carry out their campaign to maintain the Parliamentary seat.

Mr Adu called on NDC youth to adhere to the laws governing electioneering campaigns and elections to avoid falling foul of the law.

The Constituency Secretary emphasized that since elections were about choice, political opponents should note that they were not enemies.

He advised aspiring parliamentary candidates to carry out their campaigns in a way that would not affect peace as well as the rights and freedoms of their opponents.

Mr Adu urged NDC members to remain faithful and committed to the party and not to be deceived to join other parties.
