Lawyers of Georgina Opoku Amankwa, Deputy Chairperson of the EC have denied the purported response being circulated on traditional and social media came from their client.
Speaking in an Exclusive interview with Abusua FM,Mr. Kwame Owusu Sekyere of Asante Krobea-Sekyere&Associates said their client has not responded to any of the issues raised by Mrs. Charlotte Osei in a petition issued recently because she Madam Opoku Amankwa has not been served with the petition.
Mr. Owusu Sekyere said the firm will at the appropriate time react to any allegations made against Madam Opoku Amankwa and urged the public to ignore the purported response.
Mrs Charllote Osei responded to a petition from some concerned staff of the electoral Commission presented to the President seeking her impeachment.
In the twenty seven paged document, the Electoral Commission Chairperson indicated made some damning allegations against her deputies some of which includes an allegation against the Deputy Commissioner in Charge of Operations, Amadu Sulley.
