We will never be successful without ICT – Nana Addo

President of the Republic, Nana Addo Danquah Akufo-Addo has made a case for government officials to embrace the information technology as part of efforts to meet up with the targets of government.

According to the president, there is the need for parliament to fast track the passage of the Right to Information Bill (RTI) so as to give way for the overall development of the country.

Speaking at the 2017 Africa Open Data Conference in Accra, Nana Addo explained that “Ghana, and indeed Africa, welcomes partnerships and technical assistance from and open data industry leaders in the quest to develop effective and efficient open data systems”.

But the entire conference did not end without the president having a hearty selfie with some speakers and participants of the conference.
