Government has failed to ensure peace in Ghana – NDC fumes

The opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) has described the 6-month government of Nana Addo as a moment of lawlessness and bloodshed in the country.

Speaking at a crucial press conference by the NDC to examine the performance of the NPP, the national chairperson of the party, Kofi Portuphy argued that the menace of political vigilantism and bouts of violence across the country is proof that the NPP is not prepared to sustain the peace and stability of the country.

The comments by the NDC follow a statement by the president over his resolve to prevent all political vigilante groups from executing violence in the country.

Meanwhile, pro-NPP vigilante group, Delta Force, has made the case that they are committed to ensuring peace and stability in the country.

Reacting to concerns over their line of activity, the group reveal that their existence is to ensure that the peace and security in Ghana is duly upheld.
