I don’t believe in prophecies – Kennedy Agyepong responds to prophetess

Maverick politician, Kennedy Agyepong has revealed that he does not believe in prophecies because about 90% of prophets are liars and capitalize on the gullibility of their victims to make a living.

Nonetheless, he says the founder and leader of the Glorious Word Power Ministry International, Rev. Isaac Owusu-Bempah has proven otherwise by making accurate prophecies in the last 3 years.

“When you talk about it, they say you are blaspheming but it is the truth. When you see the lifestyle of most men of God, their lifestyles; lavish lifestyles, and you see their followers and how deprived they are…I don’t believe in prophecies but I believe in Rev. Owusu Bempah, for 3 years now and he has surprised me with his predictions”, he said.

We are too vulnerable, the indoctrination, a lot of pastors, prophets are capitalising on our ignorance of the Bible to deceive us”.

His comments were in response to a prophecy by the Leader and founder of the Elected Prayer Ministry, Prophetess Rebecca Aboagye for him to accept the call of God and immediately resign as Member of Parliament (MP) and rather join members of the clergy.

Prophetess Rebecca Aboagye revealed that she received a prophecy that the Assin Central lawmaker was actually born to become a member of the clergy but has deviated from his true calling into politics, a move he said God is not happy with.

In order not to incur the wrath of God as in the case of Jonah, she wants the controversial politician to immediately resign from his position as an MP and go into full-time evangelism in fulfilment of the God’s wishes.

“Kennedy Agyapong must respect the calling of God and preach the gospel but not to be a politician”, she advise.

According to her, the repercussions of his refusal to heed to God’s calling will see him being assassinated which could affect the desire of God for him to win more souls for heaven.
