Accra, May 10, GNA- The Students Representative Council (SRC) of KNUST has congratulated Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, Asantehene for his five-year stay on the Golden Stool of Asante.
A message signed by Ms Irene Asante, General Secretary of the Council said Otumfuo’s ascendancy to the throne has brought relief to Asantes and Ghanaians.
“We acknowledge the dignity and hope you have brought to the chieftaincy institution, your great input to sustain and improve education through the Otumfuo Education Fund and the Serwaa Kobi Ampem Foundation that assists and cares for orphans of HIV/AIDS patients”.
It said, “we congratulate you for your good work and hope that you will continue to support worthy courses such as the Otumfuo Osei Tutu II hostel project on KNUST campus”..
