NCCE educates masses on constitution

Zebilla (U/E), May 7, GNA – The Bawku West District Director of the National Commission for Civic Education, (NCCE) Mr. Dominic Akugre has urged all Ghanaians to discharge their civic responsibilities in good faith to sustain good democratic governance.

He said this is the only way one could be patriotic to the state and ensures the stability and development we all yearn for.

Mr. Akugre said these at a forum of Head of Departments, Chiefs and opinion leaders at Zebilla on Tuesday to climax the 4th Constitutional Week.

He said Ghanaians needed to put aside their political, religious and ethnic background and to work in a harmonious atmosphere towards the success of this year’s elections.

The NCCE Director advised that different opinions should not generate conflicts to disrupt the peaceful atmosphere of the country. The Deputy District Coordinating Director, Mr. Mohammed A. Yakubu, commended the NCCE for their untiring efforts to educate the masses in the area on their civic responsibilities
