4-year-old boy drowns in flooded area at Adukrom

At Adukrom a town in Juaboso, a 4-year-old child fell into a hole which was covered up by water as result of the heavy down pour.

Family members of the child and some people in the community came together as a group to search for the child in all the waterways for two hours after the rains had stopped.

According to our reporter, Christopher Anto, the mother of the child was not around, as she had travelled out of the town and could not be reached upon several calls being made to reach her.

Traditional rites have been performed in the water where the child fell, in order for the body of the child to appear.
