2017 NSMQ: Full list of schools to have secured qualification into semi-finals

The 2017 National Science and Maths Quiz (NSMQ) is gradually reaching its business end with nine Senior High Schools already booked their places in the semi-finals.

Inaugural champions of the quiz competition, Prempeh College picked an early ticket into the semis after making light work of GSTS and Aduman SHS.

They will be joined by Mawuli Senior High School, who also confirmed their status as semi-finalists after going past West Africa Senior High School.

This year’s competition is billed to be one of the toughest in recent times, with Presbyterian Boys Senior High School (Presec Legon), Adisadel College, Kumasi Senior High School and Mfantsipim Senior High School all in the running for the ultimate.

The 2017 National Science and Maths Quiz has already seen some mighty schools fall, and the remaining contesting schools will be hoping not to toll the same line.

Pope John Senior High School were surprisingly eliminated in the quarter-finals despite being tipped by many as outright favourites.

The nine remaining schools will be split into three groups, with the winner of each group automatically progressing into the final.
