Ten Killed On Accra-Winneba Road

Ten people died on the spot, while several others sustained various degrees of injuries when a Nissan mini bus collided head-on with a Benz bus on the Accra-Winneba Road on Saturday, May 1.

The Nissan mini bus, which was heading towards Accra, tried to overtake an articulated truck when it collided with the Benz bus moving towards Winneba. A Benz mini bus which tried to follow the Nissan crashed into the back of the Nissan mini bus, causing severe injuries to its passengers.

The dead, who are yet to be identified, were taken to the Winneba Government Hospital.
