GBC stores gutted by fire

Sections of a building at the Ghana Broadcasting Corporation (GBC) at Kanda in Accra was razed by fire on Friday, June 16.

The cause of the fire is unknown but believed to have started around 5pm when most workers had closed.

The fire burnt the storage facility where equipment and logistics are kept after purchase before distribution to other regional offices of the state broadcaster.

Deputy PRO of the Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS) Prince Billy Anaglate who confirmed the incident Class News said firemen have managed to confine the fire to a section as they make frantic efforts to douse it completely
