Radio Dynamites gives to Tarkwa Orphanage

Tarkwa (W/R), April 25, GNA- The Dynamite FM radio station at Tarkwa on Saturday presented a bag of rice and two bales of second hand clothing to the inmates of the Angels of Hope Centre children’s home at Tarkwa.

It was part of its an outreach programme launched by the radio station recently to help needy institutions and deprived communities in the Wassa West district.

Presenting the items, Mr. Amankwah Afrifa, programme manager of the Dynamite radio said an appeal launched by the radio station to solicit help for the needy in the society were very successful.

He said the radio station would continue to appeal for support from individuals and organisations to save the orphanage, which has 13 inmates, four of them now in Junior Secondary School (JSS), from collapse.

Madam Yaa Frimpomaah, caretaker of the home thanked the radio station for the gesture and appealed for more assistance to enhance the operation of the orphanage.
