Anti-human trafficking unit takes over Kasoa alleged human traffickers case

The alleged human trafficking case at Kasoa involving suspects Alhassan Gariba 27 and Fuseini Yaminu, 50 has been transferred to the Anti-Human Trafficking Unit of the Ghana Police Service.

The suspects were arrested few days ago following investigations carried out by Rainbow Radio’s Kwabena Agyekum Banahene.

The reporter got a hint that the suspects were in the process of processing the victims all minors to go and work as domestic house helps in Saudi Arabia.

He followed through the investigations for four months and after gathering enough evidence, he hinted the police who apprehended the suspects together with the victims at the Kasoa Community hospital [around Blue Top Estate] where they had sent the victims for medicals.

The victims [names withheld] are still in police custody and assisting with investigations.
