Minister appoints managers of public toilets in Kwesimintsim

Joseph Cudjoe, a Legislator and Deputy Minister of Energy has appointed three persons to manage some public toilets in the Kwesimintsim Constituency in the Sekondi Takoradi Metropolitan Assembly (STMA) of the Western Region.

In a letter dated May 22, 2017 addressed to the Metropolitan Chief Executive (MCE) of the Takoradi Metropolitan Assembly (STMA) and sighted by mynewsgh.com, the Deputy Minister said, “I wish to introduce the persons who have been selected to handle and manage the public toilet facilities at Sabon Zongo near the Jehovah Witnesses Church in the Kwesimintsim Constituency”.

The three lucky employees of the Member of Parliament are Nuhu Mohammed, Osei Assibey and Rebecca Arloo.

According to the MP, the three persons are the selected and certified persons that he is introducing to the Mayor for immediate action.

But both political and social commentators in the region think the MP does not know why he was elected. They are of the view that appointing managers of public facilities is not the role of the minister.
