Today’s edition of Newsfile discussed issues relating to the gruesome murder of Captain Adam Mahama, a leader of a team detached to Denkyira Obuasi to protect illegal mining sites. The gruesome murder took place on Monday 29th June, 2017 as he embarked on his routine joking in the morning. Resident mistook him for a suspected armed robber and lynched him to death.
Also discussed was the alleged purchase of State vehicles by the erstwhile Mahama administration at a cost of $9 million 8 days to handing over power to the incumbent Nana Akufo-Addo.
Panel members also shared their views on the decision of the Attorney General to file a nolle prosequi to conduct fresh investigation into the case involving the murder of late Abuakwa North MP, JB Danquah-Adu.
