Captain Maxwell Mahama to be laid to rest June 9

The late Captain Maxwell Adam Mahama will be laid to eternal rest June 9, 2017 family has announced.

The late Captain will be buried in the Military Cemetery in Accra. Zakaria Sakara, head of family made the announcement at a press briefing held by the family today [Saturday].

He added that, the family will hold a thanksgiving service in memory of Captain Mahama on Sunday, June 11, 2017.

Captain Mahama, an officer of the 5th Infantry Battalion, was lynched and partly burnt by some youth of Denenkyira-Obuasi in the Upper Denkyira West District of the Central Region on Monday, May 29, 2017, on suspicion that he was an armed robber.
