Girl,15, drowns at Esreso-Adagya

A young girl believed to be fifteen (15) 15 years, Ellen Adomako has reportedly drowned when she fell into a river at Esreso-Adagya in the Bosomtwe district of Ashanti Region.

According to residents of the community, the diseased left home at Adagya and was heading towards Aprabo near Dompoase around 1 am together with a friend when she fell into the river.

The body of the deceased has been deposited at Jachie government hospital.

Mother of the deceased, Mary Pokuaa speaking to Abusua FM’s Osei Kwadwo said the sad incident happened Sunday afternoon but they could not retrieve the body same day.

According to the bereaved mother, her daughter’s body was found yesterday evening.
