Swedru-Asikuma drivers commended

Agona Nkum, (C/R), April 14, GNA- Mrs Efuah Frimpong, Central Regional Best Farmer for 1996, has commended drivers plying the Swedru-Asikuma road for their continuous services despite the deplorable state of the road.

Speaking to the Ghana News Agency in an interview at Agona Nkum on Wednesday, Mrs Frimpomg regretted that the road had been in a bad state for more than four years now.

She, therefore, called on government to expedite action on plans already put in place to repair the road to facilitate economic activities in the area.

The Regional Best Farmer regretted due to the bad nature of the road, farm produce get rotten.

She appealed to the people to initiate projects for government to support them and said government alone could not provide all their developmental needs.
