The Attorney General, Gloria Akuffo has been widely criticized by sections of the public following the discharge of two key suspects in the case involving the murder of former Member of Parliament of Abuakwa-North, JB Dankwah Adu’s on Tuesday.

Many are of the view that the Attorney General’s decision to set the alleged murderers free was inapt and that it should be reviewed.

The two suspects linked to the murder of J.B. Danquah-Adu on Tuesday were discharged by the Accra High Court, this follows the filing of a Nolle prosequi by the Attorney General.

The Senior State Attorney, Ms Sefakor Batsa who made the announcement, did not give any reason for the decision to drop the charges against the two, Daniel Asiedu and Vincent Bosso.

However, She stated that the decision was based on section 54 of the criminal and other offences Act, 1960 (Act 30).
