New Juaben students rushed to hospital for food poisoning

Several female students of the Juaben Senior High School in Koforidua in the Eastern region have been admitted to different hospitals in Koforidua following what is believed to be a food contamination incident.

According to Starr News’ Kojo Ansah, some of the students were rushed to the Eastern regional government hospital after the St. Joseph Hospital failed to admit all of them for lack of space.

It is not yet clear what the students ate together.

The school authority is yet to officially comment on the matter.
