Changes in UK visa application procedure

Accra, April 11, GNA – The British High Commission has said, henceforth, all visa applicants to the United Kingdom (UK) needed to submit one photograph with their application form, instead of two previously.

This was contained in a statement issued on Monday by the Press and Public Section of the High Commission, which further indicated that there had been changes to the High Commission’s Drop Box Facility.

It said Drop Box applications should be submitted between 07:00am to 10:45am, Monday to Thursday, with the exception of public holidays.

The statement noted that before an applicant used the Drop Box facility, he or she must ensure that he or she had met all the needed criteria, enclosed full supporting documentation and a Barclays Bank draft made out for the correct fee.
