Kufuor to read with children on 23rd May

Former President John Agyekum Kufuor will on Tuesday 23 May read with 50 children from the Ododiodioo constituency in Accra as part of the Raising Readers campaign.

Raising Readers Ghana is a non-governmental foundation founded by news anchor Nana Aba Anamoah.

With support from Tigo Shelter for Education, the foundation was launched on April 7, 2017 at Bukom in Accra.

The initiative seeks to cultivate and promote reading among Ghanaian children aged between six and 13 years.

The project sees celebrities and national icons read with kids and Mr Kufuor will take his turn to read with the children on Tuesday.
