KNUST dismisses nine students for using forged results

Kumasi, April 7, GNA- The Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) in Kumasi has dismissed nine students who used forged results to gain admission into the university for the 2003/2004 academic year.

The students are Khalil Khalil, Integrated Rural Art One, Bismark Nii Okai Djarbeng, Natural Resources One, Patience Agage, Industrial Art One and Mavis Yeboah, Bachelor of Arts (BA Arts) One.

The rest are Sebastian Baffoe Bonnie, Industrial Art One, Richard Berko Ababio, Bachelor of Science Agriculture (BSc Agric) One, Abraham Nyarko, Medical Laboratory Technician One, Kennedy Asiedu Amponsah, Planning One and Samuel Koranteng Sarpong, Physics One.

A statement from the university and signed by the Registrar, said the verification and cross-checking of results presented for admission detected that these students presented forged results.
