Kumasi, April 4, GNA – Ghanaians have been advised not to allow politicians to use party politics to divide them nor undermine their collective efforts at developing the nation.
Bishop J.N.K. Boateng, Founder of the Gospel Revival Church of Christ, held that political parties may come and go, but individuals will forever remain Ghanaians with a common focus of trying to develop the nation. Bishop Boateng gave the advice while delivering the sermon at the Gospel Revival Church of Christ at Sofoline in Kumasi on Sunday to mark Palm Sunday.
He said Ghana is close to victory over her social and economic problems, “but all that is currently needed is unity of purpose and burying of all political, tribal and religious differences”. Bishop Boateng expressed disappointment about the continuous indiscipline conduct by some Ghanaian youth and called for more stringent measures to curb the trend.
He urged parents to instil the fear of God and love for neighbours in their children, adding that these were vital attributes for checking indiscipline among the youth.
