Some youth of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Afigya Kwabre Constituency in the party’s home region, (Ashanti) on Monday heaped loads of curses on the Minister of National Security and former Legislator of the area Albert Kan Dapaah, Chief of Staff, Hon. Frema Opare, Peter Mc Manu the chairman for the area and Hon. Owuraku Aidoo, the Member of Parliament (MP) for influencing the choice of a district chief executive for the area.
The youth, expressed their anger in Kwabre, over the appointment of a District Chief Executive (DCE) for the area and thus invoked the gods of their land to intervene for them because they have no position and resource to fight their course.
‘Woe betides anyone who would want to go pass us to the gods’ anyone that attempts that should be strike dead before reaching his or her destination. Why would want to go appease the gods if you are not complicit, he quizzed
‘Anyone who wants to undermine our efforts and contributions should be rewarded by the gods of our land. If our MP, Owuraku Aidoo, or any of these individual (Mc Manu, Frema Opare and Kan Dapaah) should be catered for by our gods.
According to the youth, they have nothing but eggs for the gods, but have the families of the aforementioned personalities for atonement when their prayer is answered by the gods.
