Anti rabies campaign in progress in Kwaebibrem

Akwatia (Eastern Region), 28 April, The Kwaebibrem district assembly has embarked on a district-wide anti-rabies immunization. A team from the environmental health Unit is touring the district to immunize pets such as dogs and cars. The assembly has uged owners of the pets to take advantage of the exercise to have them vaccinated against rabies. Warning that rabies has no cure. It says the vaccination is free and that after the exercise any unvaccinated pet would be destroyed and the owner put before court. gri.
