Kumasi Police declare 2 murder suspects wanted

The Ashanti Regional Command is on a manhunt for two murder suspects responsible for the death of 22-year-old Richard Apuri at Adiebeba a suburb of the Kumasi Metropolis.

Issah Koodey and one Sayibor, all residents of Pramang are believed to have instigated some violence on May 1, 2017 at Fire City Pub at about 1:30am resulting in violent clashes between youth of Kaase and Pramang.

According to Assistant Superintendent Ms Juliana Obeng, Issah Koodey threatened to kill any youth at Kaase because they had assaulted Sayibor who was his son during a clash between youth of Kaase and Pramang.

Two hours later, Issah Koodey and Sayibor hired a taxi cab with some young men and attacked the deceased believed to be a resident of Kaase, inflicting machete wounds on him.

The deceased was rushed to the Komfo Anokye Hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival.

The suspects have since gone into hiding but the police are calling on the public to volunteer information leading to their arrest.
