Teacher trainees appeal to the Ministry

Accra, March 29, GNA – The Teacher Trainees Association of Ghana has appealed to the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports to facilitate the early release of allowances of first year students to stem any suffering they might go through. A statement signed by the Association National Secretary, Mr Mcbrian Bruce Senam, said the timely release of allowances would enable the students to concentrate on their studies and prevent principals from sending them home for lack of funds to feed them. The Statement further asked the Ministry to have all outstanding feeding grants for January and February paid to all Training Colleges to alleviate the stress and agony both principals and students are going through as a result of the undue delay.
