Korle-Klottey MP Dr Zanetor Agyeman-Rawlings has urged citizens to work assiduously to develop the country.
She made the comments on May 1, the day set aside across the world to celebrate labour and the working class.
“I wish all the gallant workers of Ghana a Happy May Day. Let’s continue to work with all our might to make our nation great and strong. God bless you all,” Dr Agyeman-Rawlings stated in post on her Facebook wall.
President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo was the special guest of honour at this year’s National May Day Parade held at the Independence Square.
This year’s May Day celebration is on the theme: “Ghana @60: Mobilising for Ghana’s future through the creation of decent jobs”.
