It was a drastic scene on the Graphic Road after a 207 Benz carrying 23 passengers somersaulted.
The accident has resulted in no casualties but many passengers on board the bus; including the driver and his mate are feared to have sustained intense levels of injury.
“All of a sudden the driver could not control the steering wheel and the bus started behaving strangely. We all started shouting frantically and some even started to cry. The bus finally somersaulted and I sustained cuts at the back of my hands,’’ an eyewitness narrated to the Daily Graphic.
So far, the police has revealed to the media that all injured passengers have been admitted at the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital (KBTH) for emergency treatment.
This accident, by far, remains the first ever accident on the Graphic Road this year as the road safety commission documents that most fatal accidents in Ghana occur along the Accra-Kumasi highway.
