Sekondi Methodist Church first revival begins

Takoradi, March 24, GNA- The Sekondi-Diocese of the Methodist Church is to increase its branches and membership by the end of its first diocesan revival slated for March 22 to 28 at the Takoradi Polytechnic grounds.

The five-day service has the theme “Revive us o Lord”, and it is expected to draw a large crowd of active and dormant members of the church.

The Most Reverend Dr. Robert Aboagye-Mensah, the Presiding Bishop of the Church, Rev. Professor Seth Ohene Asare, from the USA and Very Rev. Kow B. Egyir, Bishop of the Sekondi Diocese are expected to be among speakers.

The Very Rev. Daniel degraft Brace, Superintendent Minister of the Effiakuma Circuit and Assistant Synod Secretary told the Ghana News Agency (GNA) at Takoradi on Monday that the revival is expected to arouse the interest of members in the Church.
