Greater-Accra GJA Elections on April 14th

Accra, March 23, GNA – The Ghana Journalists Association (GJA) has fixed Wednesday April 14 as the new date for the Greater-Accra Regional Branch elections.

The elections were originally set for Wednesday March 31.

A statement issued by Mr Mawusi Afele, GJA Elections Officer, said the National Executives, at a Meeting last Friday, decided that both the nomination and campaign periods for the elections be extended for two weeks.

“It is our hope that the extension will allow vacant positions to be filled,” the statement added.
