3 dead, 6 injured as a result of electrical shock

Information reaching Nyankonton Mu Nsem indicates that, 9 people have been electrocuted, 3 of them died instantly and 6 of them also injured at Kintampo South District capital Jema.

A correspondent, Star Boy narrating the incident said, the incident occurred on Tuesday April 18, 2017.

One of the victims whose name was given as Emma contracted some young electricians to connect electricity to his residence and in the process, one of the polls hit an high tension poll, tore electric wires which subsequently fell on the victims and electrocuted them and killing the three.

The six who sustained the serious injuries he added are on admission at the Kintampo Government Hospital.The six are, Sumaila Eliasu-25,Kojo Kusi-21, Yaw Konadu-40,Kweku Agyei-29,Joseph Nathan-32 and Kweku-25.
