MP commissions three boreholes in constituency

Member of Parliament for Hohoe constituency in the Volta Region, Hon. Dr. Bernice Adiku Heloo has commissioned boreholes in three communities as part her ten boreholes project in the constituency.

According Dr. Heloo the move has become necessary to address the acute water shortage in the selected communities

The Communities which included Abledze, Fodome Ando No. 1 and Lorvetornu have been without water for so long.

The project which was funded with the Common Fund Administrators reserve fund will be supplying water to more 1500 residents in the constituency.

Residents in the three communities who expressed appreciation the Dr. Heloo noted that previouly they were left with no option but to trekk miles to access water from rivers that are fast drying up.

‘With this borehole, we can have immediate access to portable drinking with without traveling on foot for miles’
