Wenchi people construct roads

Wenchi (B/A), March 20, GNA – The people of Ntoase in the Wenchi district of the Brong-Ahafo Region have pooled resources to rehabilitate roads in the area to facilitate economic activities.

Disclosing this to newsmen at Wenchi on Tuesday at Wenchi, Mr Paul Kwame Baffoe, assembly member of the area, commended the people for paying 50,000 cedis per household towards the rehabilitation and also thanked the Wenchi district assembly for supporting the project. Mr Kwame Baffoe requested the district assembly to tar all the roads constructed during the Urban Five Programme.

He also called on all citizens in the Wenchi district to pay their taxes promptly to enable the assembly generate enough funds to carry out more projects in area.

Mr Baffoe also asked the people to register in the on-going voters’ registration exercise to enable them vote in the forthcoming election.
