Chief build school block for town

Nzema (Ash), March.20, GNA – Nana Nkansa Boadu 1, Chief of Nzem, near Kwadaso in the Kumasi Metropolis has built a three-classroom block, an office and a store at the cost of 80 million cedis for the Nzema community.

Speaking to the Ghana News Agency on Friday, Nana Boadu said he attached a lot of importance to education of his people and so he decided to build the school to enhance the education of his people.

He said that he intended to build a clinic for the community to provide health care delivery.

Nana Boadu advised the people to cultivate the spirit of self-help to support projects that might be initiated in the community.

He also asked them to register in their numbers during the on-going registration exercise to enable them to exercise their franchise at the December Presidential and Parliamentary elections. Nana Kwadwo Bosompem, Sanaahene of Nzema, on behalf of the people, expressed his appreciation to their chief for providing the community with some social amenities.

He said besides the construction of the school, Nana Boadu had provided the town with pipe-borne water and constructed street drainage in the town.
