Nacob nabs three drug traffickers including Kenya & Nigerian at Kotoka Airport

The Narcotics Control Board (Nacob) has arrested three persons on different occasions at the Kotoko International Airport for illegal possession and trafficking of drugs.

The three are Ghanaian Madugu Suraku, Liberian Maxwell Momo Golafale and Nigerian Daniel Njoku Egbuta. A release from the Board on Thursday, April 13 said the Ghanaian was arrested on March 29 on his return from Kenya.

He “was picked up while going through arrival formalities and a urine test conducted on him proved positive for narcotics”. He is said to have confessed ingesting 35 pellets of a powdery substance suspected to be Speedball.
