Dampong, (Ashanti Region) 21 April, The electorate have been urged to elect people imbued with patriotism, who can initiate projects and assist them to implement policies and programmes of the district assemblies during the unit committee and district asembly elections next month. Mr. Alex Kwaku Korankye, Member of Parliament for Asante-Akim South, who made the call, asked them to look out for these qualities when the candidates mount the platforms to seek their mandate. He made the call when he toured his constituency to interact with the chiefs and people at the weekend. Towns he visited were Muramura, Akyiresu, Wankyi, Adomfe, Krofa, Bompata, Kwabeng and Dampong.
