NPP to provide jobs for ‘Delta force’ to keep them busy

The Ashanti Regional Minister, Simon Osei Mensah, says the New Patriotic Party (NPP) is considering providing jobs for members of the vigilante group, Delta Force to keep them engaged.

In an interview with Ekourba Gyasi on Atinka AM Drive, Simon Osei Mensah stated that the Delta Force has over 40 members in every constituency, which means that they have quite a huge following.

He added that as the saying goes, ‘the devil finds work for the idle hands’, members of the Delta Force are engaging in these acts of vandalism probably because they are unemployed and that they will stop if they are gainfully employed.

“I know most of them personally. However, I will not condone such acts since they tarnish the image of the party . This is a big issue and we will find a suitable way to solve it,” he concluded.
