Dr Apraku attends EBID meeting in Lome.

Accra, 15 March, GNA – Dr Kofi Konadu Apraku, Minister of Regional Cooperation and NEPAD, is in Lome, Togo, to attend the Ecowas Bank for Investment and Development (EBID) Governing Council meeting. The meeting would set up structures that would assist the Council to undertake the work of EBID.

This was contained in a statement issued from the Ministry of Regional Co-operation and NEPAD and signed by Ahmed Osumanu Halid, Media Relations Officer of the ministry.

During his departure interview, Dr Apraku said EBID would work to make the finances of ECOWAS sustainable.

He was accompanied by Dr Lanto Harding, Acting Head of Policy Co-ordination and Implementation of the Ministry.
