NDC collapsed NHIS, revive it – Bantamahene tells Akufo-Addo

The Chief of Bantama Nana Baffour Amankwatia VI has called on President Nana Addo and his government to revive the National Health Insurance Scheme which has been collapsed by the previous government.

According to Nana Baffour Amankwatia VI, Ghanaians are fully aware that the National Health Insurance Scheme has been collapsed by the John Mahama led-NDC government, “but I am appealing to you (Nana Addo) to revive the NHIS because your party started it and knows how to make it work.”

He further appealed to Nana Addo’s administration to create more social intervention to help reduce poverty in this country.

Nana Baffour Amankwatia VI made this appeal when the President of the Republic of Ghana Nana Addo Danquah visited Otumfour palace as part of his three (3) days tour in the Ashanti region.
