Professor Kwesi Yankah appears before Appointments Committee – Highlights

Prof. Kwesi Yankah, Minister of State-designate for Tetiary education took his turn before Parliament’s appointments committee Monday March 27, 2017.

The renowned educationist and Vice Chancellor of the Central University College spoke extensively on issues regarding the country’s tertiary educational system and policies he intends bringing on board during his term in office to ensure progressive development in that capacity.

Prof. Kwesi Yankah also among other things revealed to members of the committee his stand as a member of the New Patriotic Party.

According to him, he is now a card-bearing member of the New Patriotic Party unlike previously when he was a mere sympathizer of the party.

Prof. Kwesi Yankah has served in various capacities as an educationist, he is a former Pro-Vice Chancellor of the University of Ghana and also held several key positions at the University.

He, if approved will become the Minister of State in charge of Tetiary education.
